    On October 1, 2025, Maxar Space Systems (the satellite-manufacturing business formed in the Sept 2023 Maxar split, initially publicized as "Maxar Space Infrastructure"; see related event) rebranded as Lanteris Space Systems. Lanteris traces its lineage through Philco WDL (1957) -> Space Systems/Loral (1990) -> SSL/MDA (2012) -> Maxar SSL/Maxar Space Solutions (2017-2019) -> Maxar Space Infrastructure/Systems (2023) -> Lanteris (2025); this database's existing "Lanteris Space Systems" org row represents that continuous lineage.
