Zhang Lu and Wu Fei completed inspections of the Tianhe, Wentian, and Mengtian modules during the spacewalk.
In 2022 the taikonauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu delivered live New Year’s wishes from the Tianhe core module in orbit during Chunwan.
The spacewalkers installed space debris protection devices onto station modules and performed inspections of the Tianhe, Wentian, and Mengtian modules.
When the spacewalk occurs, routine inspections of the Tianhe, Wentian, Mengtian, and Shenzhou-22 spacecraft will be conducted.
Shenzhou-23 is expected to dock at the Tiangong Space Station's Tianhe module's Earth-facing docking port in April 2026.
Shenzhou-22 is expected to dock at the Tianhe module's forward-facing port in four and a half hours after liftoff.
The Shenzhou-20 spacecraft is docked to the Tianhe module’s Earth-facing port at the Tiangong Space Station.
The Shenzhou-22 spacecraft will fly uncrewed and autonomously to Tianhe’s forward-facing port carrying food supplies and equipment.
The Shenzhou-21 spacecraft undocked from the Tianhe module’s forward-facing port at the Tiangong Space Station at 11:14 am China Standard Time on November 14th.
The Tiangong space station is designed to last over 10 years and consists of a Tianhe core module and a Wentian experimental module.
