SES leads the EAGLE-1 consortium and selected TESAT as the partner responsible for developing and integrating the Quantum Key Distribution payload for the EAGLE-1 satellite.
The EAGLE-1 project is developed by SES and a consortium of 20 European partners and is co-funded by ESA contributions from Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Czech Republic under ARTES and by the European Commission through Horizon Europe.
