AsiaSat operates a core fleet of five in-orbit satellites: AsiaSat 5, AsiaSat 6, AsiaSat 7, AsiaSat 8, and AsiaSat 9.
SAILAS is powered by AsiaSat satellites AsiaSat 5, AsiaSat 7, and AsiaSat 9 and by hub infrastructure from the Tai Po Earth Station and regional teleport partners.
AsiaSat currently operates seven satellites: AsiaSat 3S, AsiaSat 4, AsiaSat 5, AsiaSat 6, AsiaSat 7, AsiaSat 8, and AsiaSat 9.
AsiaSat 9 is AsiaSat’s most powerful satellite and was launched to further serve the Asia-Pacific market with enhanced power and efficiency.
AsiaSat-8 and AsiaSat-9 include some Ka-band high-throughput satellite capacity.
AsiaSat replaced AsiaSat-4 in its own fleet with AsiaSat-9, which launched in 2017 on an International Launch Services Proton.
