SES will deliver connectivity services throughout Uzbekistan via its geostationary satellite NSS-12 under an agreement with UZ-SAT.
NSS 12 Ethiosat is Ethiopia’s first dedicated free-to-air TV platform hosted on SES’s NSS-12 satellite.
Ethiosat is hosted on SES’s NSS-12 satellite at the 57 degrees East orbital position.
NSS-12 operates in Geostationary orbit and is positioned approximately 36,0 m above Earth.
SES provides connectivity services to Nepali ATMs via NSS-12, a satellite leveraging Ku-band spectrum.
SES ordered SES-26, a software-defined geostationary satellite, to replace NSS-12 at 57 degrees East to extend content and connectivity services across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia and to support government communications solutions.
SES-26 will replace the operator’s retiring NSS-12 satellite that was launched in 2009 from the 57 degrees East orbital location.
