The PLA Information Support Force is a branch of the Chinese armed forces responsible for military information/communications networks, directly subordinate to the Central Military Commission. Formed April 19, 2024 from the information/communications and part of the intelligence and electronic-warfare components of the dissolved Strategic Support Force, alongside the new Aerospace Force and Cyberspace Force.

On 19 April 2024 the PLA Strategic Support Force (est. 31 Dec 2015) was dissolved and replaced by three CMC-direct forces: the Aerospace Force, Cyberspace Force, and Information Support Force. Space missions/units went to the PLA Aerospace Force.
