Makina ve Kimya Endustrisi Kurumu (MKEK, Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation) is Turkey's state-owned defense manufacturing enterprise, tracing back to the Ottoman-era military factories administration and formally established as a state economic enterprise in 1950. It has been a co-founder/partner in several later Turkish defense-industry companies, including Roketsan (1988).
