The Creare–West Coast Solutions collaboration supports the Hyperspectral Thermal Imager (HyTI) mission scheduled to launch in late 2022.
Innovative Solutions In Space will provide the HyTI platform while the Hawaii Space Flight Laboratory will complete payload integration and flight preparation.
The HyTI mission will test an interferometric imaging approach for acquiring spectral data and NASA/JPL’s Barrier InfraRed Detector technology.
The HyTI (Hyperspectral Thermal Imager) 6U CubeSat platform will demonstrate acquisition of thermal infrared image data with 25 spectral bands and 60-meter spatial resolution.
