The May 2025 deal, known as the MikroSAR program, includes delivery of three synthetic aperture radar satellites.
The MikroSAR satellites will provide the Polish Armed Forces with 25-centimeter resolution all-weather imaging.
The new SAR satellites will support the Polish Armed Forces’ MikroSAR program.
The new satellites will serve ICEYE’s commercial constellation and national missions, including the Greek National Space Program, the Polish Armed Forces’ MikroSAR program, and BAE Systems’ Azalea constellation.
The initial MikroSAR program deal is worth around PLN 860 million ($237 million) and includes an option for Poland to acquire a further three spacecraft.
The Polish Ministry of National Defense signed a contract last May with the manufacturer consortium to receive at least three satellites under the MikroSAR program.
