The 2020-06-11 Electron launch includes the ANDESITE cubesat built by students at Boston University whose launch was arranged by NASA.
The Rocket Lab mission “Don’t Stop Me Now” will place into orbit ANDESITE, a cubesat built by Boston University and whose launch is being provided by NASA.
About 150 Boston University students helped design, develop, and build the ANDESITE mission.
If mission operations go as planned, the ANDESITE nodes will create a mesh network mapping electric current related to the Aurora Borealis for at least two to three weeks.
