Joint Interoperability Test Command

The Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) is a wing of the United States Department of Defense that tests and certifies information technology (IT) products for military use. JITC is designated by the Joint Chiefs of Staff as the authority that certifies whether critical information systems used by the Defense Department meet interoperability requirements for joint military operations. As part of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), JITC ensures that technology works across varied military environments. JITC's focuses include; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence of NATO and National systems.
