Redstone Arsenal is a United States Army base in Huntsville, Alabama, that plays a significant role in the space industry due to its history in rocketry and its current hosting of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). MSFC, the U.S. government's civilian rocketry and spacecraft propulsion research center, was created out of the old Redstone Arsenal on July 1, 1960. Redstone Arsenal supports NASA's exploration and science missions. Key partners include NASA, the Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
