Tesseract Space is a spacecraft propulsion company that designs and builds hardware, including thrusters and complete propulsion systems, utilizing non-toxic propellants. Founded in 2017 and based in San Francisco, the company focuses on providing safer, lower-cost solutions for commercial satellite operators, robotic space exploration, and human spaceflight programs. Tesseract Space uses modern materials and manufacturing techniques like 3D printing to lower costs. Tesseract was awarded a $1.25M contract to help Space Force and the military track machines, people, and objects on base, and create a clearer understanding of launch conditions.
