Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional (LAPAN), or the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space, was the Indonesian government's space agency. Established in 1963, LAPAN was responsible for long-term civilian and military aerospace research. The agency managed satellites, developed sounding rockets, and aimed to develop small orbital space launchers. In 2021, LAPAN was integrated into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
