The Planetary Science Advisory Committee (PAC) is an advisory committee that supports the Planetary Science Division (PSD), the Science Mission Directorate (SMD), other NASA mission directorates, and the NASA Administrator. Chartered under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), the PAC's scope includes all facets of planetary science, encompassing scientific exploration of the Moon and Mars, robotic solar system exploration, astrobiology, exoplanet research, and related technology development.
