Globe Wireless, originally founded as Globe Wireless Limited in 1935, is a telecommunications provider specializing in wireless communications, particularly for the maritime industry. It offers services such as messaging, IT solutions, voice communication, and data transfer via satellite and HF radio. Although its HF network was discontinued in 2014 and it was acquired by Inmarsat, Globe Wireless has served over 550 ship operators, supporting over 8,000 ships with its products and services, also collaborating with companies like AST SpaceMobile to expand connectivity using satellite technology.
