U.S. Mission to the United Nations

The U.S. Mission to the United Nations (USUN) serves as the United States' delegation to the United Nations, carrying out the nation's participation in the world body. USUN represents the U.S.'s political, economic, social, legal, military, public diplomacy, and management interests at the UN. It works with the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) to promote international cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space and shares U.S. space policy. USUN also supports efforts to prevent an arms race in outer space and uphold the Outer Space Treaty.
