The Planetary Science Institute (PSI), founded in 1972, is a non-profit research institute based in Tucson, Arizona, dedicated to Solar System exploration. PSI scientists are involved in numerous NASA and international missions, studying planets, asteroids, comets, and interplanetary dust, and are also engaged in education and public outreach. PSI actively participated in the Dawn mission and manages the GRaND spectrometer. PSI is the largest non-governmental employer of planetary scientists worldwide.
