Digital IF Interoperability (DIFI) Consortium

The Digital IF Interoperability (DIFI) Consortium is an independent industry group that promotes interoperability in space and ground system networks by creating a simple, open Digital IF/RF standard. DIFI aims to facilitate the digital transformation of the satellite industry, moving away from proprietary systems to open solutions. Its primary activity is developing and promoting the IEEE-ISTO Std 4900-2021 standard to ensure interoperability at the digital IF level. DIFI has attracted over 50 members, including organizations like the US Army, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and Kratos, who are working together to shape the evolution of the standard.
