IEEE-ISTO

IEEE-ISTO (Industry Standards and Technology Organization) is a global, not-for-profit corporation and a federation of industry alliances, consortia, and trade groups that fosters the development and adoption of technology standards. In the space industry, IEEE-ISTO collaborates with organizations like the Space Systems Command (SSC) and the Space Systems MOSA Interface Standards Alliance to develop modular open system approach (MOSA) interface standards, promoting interoperability for space systems. They work to create consensus-based standards for space systems (ground, space, launch, user) that are technically feasible and quickly implementable.
