CITEL

CITEL, the Inter-American Telecommunication Commission, is an entity of the Organization of American States (OAS). CITEL's role is to facilitate and promote the continuing development of telecommunications/information and communication technologies (ICT) in the Americas. It coordinates telecommunications-related mandates of the OAS General Assembly and supports initiatives to expand ICT in underserved areas, contributing to regional economic and social development. They partner with organizations like the ARRL and IARU Region 2.
