Portland State Aerospace Society

US

The Portland State Aerospace Society (PSAS) is an interdisciplinary, student-led group at Portland State University that designs, builds, and flies open-source rockets, liquid-fuel rocket engines, CubeSats, and ground stations. As an open-source aerospace project, PSAS focuses on providing hands-on systems engineering experience to students. Their projects include amateur rockets like the LV3 and LV4, the OreSat CubeSat series (including Oregon's first satellite), and ground stations for satellite communication, and they collaborate with other universities and local businesses. PSAS aims to make space more accessible by freely sharing information and designs.
