The Conference on Disarmament (CD) is a multilateral disarmament forum established by the international community to negotiate arms control and disarmament agreements. It was established in 1979 and meets annually in Geneva in three separate sessions. The CD's agenda includes nuclear weapons, other weapons of mass destruction, conventional weapons, prevention of an arms race in outer space (PAROS), and other disarmament-related topics.
