Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority

AE

The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) is the federal telecommunications regulatory agency of the United Arab Emirates, established in 2003. While its primary focus is on regulating the ICT sector within the UAE, ensuring sustainability, competitiveness and transparency, the TRDA also plays a role in the space sector. It is responsible for the use and allocation of radio-frequency spectrum, a critical element for space communication services, and works with the UAE Space Agency (UAESA) to regulate space-related activities, including satellite operations.
