GEC Marconi Avionics

GEC Marconi Avionics (later renamed GEC Avionics) was a British aerospace, defense, and communications company. As a part of GEC (The General Electric Company), it served as a supplier of airborne early warning radar systems, flight control systems, and electronic warfare technology. The company also developed anti-submarine warfare (ASW) systems and thermal imaging sensors for maritime patrol aircraft. It merged with British Aerospace to form BAE Systems, with its avionics business becoming BAE Systems Avionics.
