Asension (formerly DEWC Systems) was an Australian veteran-owned electronic warfare company that developed novel approaches to EW technology for the defense industry. They are known for the Miniaturised Orbital Electronic Warfare Sensor System (MOESS), a space-based tactical EW sensor system. In late 2024, after entering voluntary administration, Asension's intellectual property was acquired by REDARC Defence & Space to advance sovereign technologies for Australia's ISREW capabilities. Asension collaborated with Australian universities, the Defence Science and Technology Group, and received funding from the Defence Innovation Hub.
