Vieco USA, Inc. was the parent company of Virgin Orbit, an aerospace company focused on providing commercial space orbital launch solutions for small satellites. Virgin Orbit, founded by Sir Richard Branson in 2017, developed air-launched rockets, like LauncherOne, capable of deploying satellites into precisely targeted orbits. Vieco USA, Inc. has since merged with NextGen Acquisition Corp. II and is now known as Virgin Orbit Holdings, Inc.
