RomSpace, a team of high school students from the International Computing High School of Bucharest, is a space education initiative focused on designing, building, and launching picosatellites. They built the first Romanian PocketQube satellite, ROM-2, and ROM-3, with the goal of promoting STEM fields among Romanian youth. These PocketQube satellites are designed for missions such as digital repeating for amateur radio, SSDV image transmission, and CW beacon transmission, using Earth observation payloads and are paving the way for democratizing space access.
