The Hellenic Cadastre, officially established in 2018 and supervised by the Ministry of Digital Governance, is a Greek state agency responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating the National Cadastre, as well as maintaining the system of Registrations and Mortgages. It aims to ensure the reliability, publicity, and availability of spatial and legal data related to real estate, ensure public trust and security of transactions, and provide geodetic and cartographic coverage of the country. The Hellenic Cadastre also handles photogrammetric and cartographic projects, from aerial photographs and satellite images to basemap development, and maintains digital geospatial databases.
