The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) is a governmental organization responsible for weather forecasting and climate monitoring in China. As a member of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), CMA operates the Fengyun (FY) series of meteorological satellites, providing data and services globally. CMA also engages in international partnerships, data exchange, and collaborative projects to improve meteorological early warning systems and climate services, supporting disaster prevention and risk reduction efforts worldwide. The CMA recently unveiled the FENGYUN Space Weather system to enhance space weather monitoring and early warning capabilities.
