Americom, originally RCA Americom and later GE Americom, was a major commercial satellite operator of North American geosynchronous satellites. It provided satellite services such as video broadcasting, communication, and data transmission. In 2001, GE sold GE Americom to SES, which was then renamed SES Americom.
