Small Spacecraft Technology

The Small Spacecraft Technology (SST) program is part of NASA's Space Technology Mission Directorate. SST aims to expand the ability to execute unique missions through rapid development and demonstration of capabilities for small spacecraft, applicable to exploration, science, and the commercial space sector. The program focuses on identifying, investing in, and demonstrating new subsystem technologies and capabilities for small spacecraft, including CubeSats, DiskSats and technologies for swarms. It partners with academia, industry, and government to push the pace of technology development, exploration, and discovery.
