The Euclid Consortium is an international collaboration of over 2000 scientists, engineers, and other professionals from over 300 institutions in 17 countries. As a key partner with the European Space Agency (ESA) for the Euclid mission, the Consortium is responsible for providing the mission's two scientific instruments (VIS and NISP) and for the development and implementation of the Science Ground Segment to process and analyze the data collected. NASA is also a partner, contributing infrared detectors and science support. The Euclid mission aims to map the geometry of the dark Universe, studying dark energy and dark matter by observing billions of galaxies.
