Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center

CN

酒泉卫星发射中心

The Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (JSLC), founded in 1958, is China's oldest spaceport and a key facility in its space program. Located in the Gobi Desert, it primarily launches vehicles into low and medium Earth orbits with high orbital inclination angles. JSLC has supported many of China's space milestones, including their first satellite launch (Dong Fang Hong I) and crewed missions (Shenzhou program) and continues to support launches to the Tiangong space station. It features state-of-the-art facilities and is used by organizations like CASC and CAS Space.
