UrtheCast (2010-2021) was a Canadian space company specializing in satellite imagery, data services, and geo-analytics. They operated two cameras on the International Space Station (ISS) in partnership with Roscosmos, providing high-definition video and imagery of Earth. UrtheCast also owned and operated Earth Observation satellites such as Deimos-1 and Deimos-2. The company aimed to provide timely, high-resolution imagery for various sectors, including agriculture, forestry, environmental monitoring, and defense, but filed for creditor protection in 2020, leading to the emergence of EarthDaily Analytics in 2021.
