3rd Space Operations Squadron

The 3rd Space Operations Squadron (3 SOPS) is a unit of the U.S. Space Force, falling under Space Delta 9, and is located at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado. As a space defense unit, its mission is to protect and preserve vital space capabilities, conducting on-orbit operations in support of U.S. Space Command. The 3 SOPS executes proof of concept, tactics, techniques and procedures, and concept of operations development to operationalize experimentation and demonstrations.
