U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) is a U.S. Department of Defense unified combatant command. Through its U.S. Space Forces Central (SPACECENT) component, CENTCOM integrates military space power into its operations across Northeast Africa, the Middle East, and Central and South Asia. SPACECENT is responsible for space operations within the CENTCOM area of responsibility, including capabilities such as positioning, navigation and timing, satellite communication, and missile warnings, working with coalition and regional partners to strengthen regional stability.
