Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Belleville Campus

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), located on its Belleville Campus, is a South African higher education institution actively involved in space technology and nanosatellite development through its French South African Institute of Technology (F'SATI) and the Africa Space Innovation Centre (ASIC). CPUT's space program focuses on postgraduate research and training, contributing to human capital development in satellite engineering. They design, build, and launch CubeSats for various purposes, including space weather research, technology demonstration, and maritime domain awareness, with the support of the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) and the South African National Space Agency (SANSA).
