National Security Agency (NSA)

The National Security Agency (NSA) is a U.S. government intelligence agency that plays a significant role in national security space activities. It procures and operates reconnaissance satellites to gather signals intelligence (SIGINT) and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT). The NSA also ensures secure communication and data for military operations, even in space, and develops cybersecurity measures for weapon systems. Its partners include the Department of Defense and other intelligence agencies.
