The Defense Space Agency (DSA) is an integrated tri-services agency of the Indian Armed Forces. Headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, the DSA operates space-warfare and satellite intelligence assets to protect Indian interests in outer space and develop space warfare strategies. The DSA works on signals intelligence, electronic intelligence, communication intelligence, and space-based tracking systems. It closely collaborates with the Defence Space Research Agency (DSRA). Established September 28, 2018; became operational November 2019, headquartered in Bengaluru.
