The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) is an executive department of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. MIIT is responsible for the regulation and development of China's postal service, internet, wireless communications, broadcasting, and the production of electronic and information goods. Within the space industry, MIIT manages the China National Space Administration (CNSA) and guides the construction of information systems. It also formulates plans and policies for the aerospace industry, promotes technological innovation, and integrates military and civilian efforts.
