CarpathiaSat Hungarian Space Telecommunications Corporation is a company established to launch and operate Hungary's first geostationary satellite. It aims to provide broadcast, internet, telephone services, and data transmission, as well as support scientific research. CarpathiaSat is a joint venture led by 4iG, with partners including Antenna Hungária and New Space Industries, holding the right to operate the satellite's geostationary orbit for 20 years. The company outsources manufacturing for its geostationary satellite internationally but is also investing in facilities to produce non-geostationary satellites (NGSO) in the future.
