The South Korean Air Force (ROKAF), also known as the Republic of Korea Air Force, is the aerial and space warfare service branch of South Korea. It operates under the Ministry of National Defense. ROKAF has been working with the US Air Force on space operations since 2017, and later elevated its space operations unit to the Air Force Space Operations Group in September 2022. The ROKAF is integrating aerial and space intelligence into real operations to respond swiftly to asymmetric threats, including ballistic missile launches.
