ISS National Lab

US

The ISS National Lab is a U.S. government-funded national laboratory located on the International Space Station (ISS). Managed by the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) under a Cooperative Agreement with NASA, it facilitates access to the ISS for U.S. researchers from various sectors to conduct research and technology development in microgravity. The ISS National Lab supports a wide range of research, including life sciences, physical sciences, technology development, and remote sensing, with the goal of improving life on Earth and fostering a sustainable low Earth orbit (LEO) economy, with partners including NASA, academic institutions, government agencies, and commercial companies.
