Xi'an Aerospace Propulsion Institute is a Chinese research and development organization specializing in liquid rocket engines and propulsion systems. As a subsidiary of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the institute develops engines for the Long March series of launch vehicles, as well as engines for attitude control. It has developed over 60 types of liquid rocket engines used in missiles, rockets, satellites, and spacecraft, contributing significantly to China's space programs like Beidou navigation, Chang'e lunar exploration, and Tianwen Mars exploration.
