The National Aerospace Development Administration (NADA), now known as the National Aerospace Technology Administration (NATA) since September 2023, is North Korea's official space agency. NATA is responsible for the DPRK's space program, including the development of space science, technology, satellite launches, and carrier rockets. NATA operates under the Law on Space Development and succeeded the Korean Committee of Space Technology (KCST) in 2013. Despite international sanctions, NATA aims to advance its space capabilities, including lunar and geostationary satellites, and manned spaceflight.
