U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)

The U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a combat support agency within the Department of Defense and a member of the United States Intelligence Community, whose primary mission is collecting, analyzing, and distributing geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) in support of national security. NGA utilizes satellite reconnaissance data and collaborates with organizations like the U.S. Space Force, the Department of Defense, and international partners to provide geospatial intelligence for military and other operations. In 2024, NGA announced plans to create a space intelligence hub called the Joint Mission Management Center (JMMC) to better integrate data from various agencies.
