The Office of Economics and Analytics (OEA) is an office within the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). OEA's role is to expand and deepen the use of economics and data analytics in the Commission's policymaking. To achieve this, OEA performs economic analyses of rulemakings, adjudications, and transactions and develops and implements spectrum auctions, data practices and policies, and many of the Commission's data collections.
