The Selangor State Government in Malaysia actively supports the growth of the aerospace industry within the state, with over 67% of Malaysia's aerospace ecosystem operating in Selangor. They developed the Selangor Aerospace Action Plan 2020-2030 (SAAP) to become a key player in the industry globally by 2030, focusing on infrastructure, incentives, funding, and education. The Selangor Darul Ehsan Aerospace Industry Coordination Office (S-DAICO), a division under Invest Selangor Berhad, is entrusted to lead the growth of the aviation industry in Selangor. The government collaborates with OEMs and industry players to secure high-value work packages and quality employment opportunities.
