The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) is the UAE's largest applied higher education institution and is now involved in space-related activities. HCT is undertaking its first student-led space mission, HCT-SAT 1, an Earth observation CubeSat developed in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC). HCT offers various programs including aviation, engineering and space technology, and aims to empower students to contribute to the UAE's growing space sector. Key activities include satellite design, development, and integration, with keywords including CubeSat, space education, and STEM.
